Dr Hiu Lam Agnes Yuen is a Haematologist at Monash Health and Jessie McPherson Hospital. She was awarded MBBS/BMedSci (Hons) through the University of Melbourne. She undertook her specialty training through Monash and Alfred Health and is a fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as well as the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA). She also completed a fellowship in haemostasis and thrombosis with Monash Health, gaining insight into clinical trials and evidence-based medicine.

Dr Yuen is currently undertaking a PhD on venous thrombosis focusing on upper limb disorders. This research is through Monash University and the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases and facilitated by a Monash Health Haematology Research Grant.

Practice Interests

Dr Yuen consults at Clayton and specialises in benign haematological disorders such as obstetric haematology, thrombocytopenia, venous thromboembolism, iron deficiency and transfusion medicine.

Dr Yuen is committed to the highest level of patient care by developing individualised care plans and applying a team-based approach for best outcomes.
